The Road Ahead 2010: Implementing Innovation

Program Summary

For the past five years, Transportation Solutions has led dialogue about cutting-edge and practical transportation research, policy and applications to help balance economic, environmental and health considerations to meet today’s and future needs. This high-level educational forum continued in 2010 with The Road Ahead: Implementing Innovation, providing a detailed look at pioneering sustainable transportation options employed around the country.

Innovations such as carsharing, bikesharing, and enhanced transit strategies are being implemented successfully in cities across the nation to facilitate connectivity, accessibility and sustainability. The Road Ahead forums attract elected officials, policy makers, governmental staff, business representatives, private-sector developers and transportation industry leaders.

The 2010 event was held on Friday, January 29, 2010 from 7:30 to 10 AM at the JW Marriott Denver at Cherry Creek.  Nearly 100 representatives from local and state-level government agencies, nonprofit and community organizations, businesses and neighborhoods joined us for the 2010 event.
