The University of Denver is committed to minimizing traffic and pollution in and around campus and encourages students, faculty, and staff to leave their cars at home whenever possible. To help promote transportation options, the University established the Transportation Center - a one-stop shop for information about alternatives to driving alone - in the Evans parking structure near the intersection of Evans & High Street.
The University of Denver's Transportation Center offers services to faculty, staff and students who are interested in a variety of modes for commuting to campus and to travel around the city and local area. The University of Denver is a short trip from major area attractions such as Coors Field, the Pepsi Center, Invesco Field at Mile High, Washington Park, Lower Downtown (LoDo), and the Cherry Creek Shopping District. Transportation options - bicycle, bus and light rail - in combination or alone, can often get students where they want to go.
It may not be a full ride, but undergraduates, law students and graduate students are eligible for a Free Ride--on all of RTD’s buses and light rail throughout the metro area, that is. Administered at the Transportation Center in Driscoll University Center South, Lower Level, it comes in the form of a sticker affixed to the Pioneer ID card and entitles riders to all of RTD's bus and light rail services at no charge simply by showing the driver the ID with sticker while boarding the bus or to a light rail attendant if asked.
University of Denver affords its benefited employees with RTD’s Eco Pass, an all-access transit pass that free rides on all of RTD’s buses and light rail throughout the metro area.
